Roundabouts

Roundabouts est un transfert adapté d’une illustration représentant un jardin de nœud (“knot garden” en anglais).

Créé par Annie Sloan en association avec la Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), ce transfert s’inspire du plan d’un jardin réalisé par Stephen Blake dans son livre intitulé “The Compleat Gardeners Practice”, publié en 1664*et imprimé pour Thomas Pierrepoint.

Le motif original tout en cercles et en carrés utilise la teinte Aubusson Blue – disponible dans la gamme Chalk Paint™ ou en peinture murale Annie Sloan ainsi qu’en Tilton, créant une combinaison de couleurs rappelant la faïence du Portugal.
